The Philippine Explorers Club

This is an idea I came up with recently, a club with members wishing to explore the Philippines caves, islands, water falls, train trips, and any other interesting sites in the Philippines. We have no members or a leader as of yet. For the most part this is only an idea set down on paper. Give me your comments and suggestions. I will act as leader until we get organized and I find a suitable leader to take over the duties. I am looking for someone knowledgeable of the Philippines, someone who has explored this region before and knows what to do and how to do it. Where to go and where not to go. I will also act as web master for the group recording the doings of our group on this web site. Currently this is a dream of mine soon I hope it becomes  reality. If you have explored a site please feel free to lost your log on this page and become a member today.  Anyone having interesting photography can also post them on this page.

Marianne, Wilma and her friend Colin exploring the island of Bantayan
off the coast of northern Cebu in 2004. This island has two great beach
resorts and friendly cheerful residents. We explored the island on rented
Honda motorcycles. Colin is from London and sings like the Beatles.
