This house is now for sale: $70,000.00 everything goes the land, house and all furniture are included in that price. It sits near the top of a small mountain in northern Cebu in a quite little town of Dakit about two kilometers from Bogo on the island of Cebu.  If interested, talk to me. mchfun@gmail.com 817-457-7572.  The house is very near the ocean and several fine beach resorts. Nailon Beach Resort, Warrens Beach Resort and San Remigio are all within easy reach of the house. Virgin Beach Resort is abut half an hour from the house, they have cabins for rent. Building of our Dakit, Bogo house.

Bulldozer clearing and leveling the land where our
house will be built.

The walls going up, hollow block filled with concrete.

Our house is on the side of a mountain. Rocky resistant
soil resists landslides. Notice the full Ten foot walls.

Looking up the hill to the house from the neighbors
house.  It looks small thre but believe me it isn't. About
2000 square feet total. Each window is 6 feet wide. double
pained glass.  Ceilings are at the 10 Foot level.

Living room interior, concrete floor full of dirt and cement
dust.
Notice the 12 foot walls, ceilings are in at the 10
foot level.

Chinese red aluminum roof, cost P100,000.00. This view
is looking at the rear of the house and the kitchen.
Between the wall and house now covered is wher the
Laundry is done. This view gives you a better prospective
on the length of this houes.

notice there is no wood in the construction of this
house, only steel beams.  The roof is welded to the rest
of the house from rebar imbedded in the cement.

Right side of the house showing two of the three
bedrooms. Photo taken before the security wall was
erected. Windows  are 6 feet wide here also.

Front porch or terrace, is about 50 feet long, real marble
posts and railings. Decorated with a young Filipino
School Girl in her  school uniform. Just kidding...

This is the master bedroom just after painting, notice
location for Air-conditioner. The room also has two Six
foot long, Sliding glass windows.

View of the master bedroom showing he size of this room. Notice
how steep the hill is out side the window. Marianne showing where
the bed will be placed.

Finished dining room area. Front door on left, bedroom
door on the right.

Finished Living room area. The living room and dining
room are part of the same large area. Bedroom door
shown here, used as my office.

View of the living room from the Dining room. Windows are about six
feet wide. Chairs are turned to view the 29" TV.  The door on the far
left, barely visible is where the master bedroom is located and will be
the renters room if anyone rents this house.

This shows the size of the living room. The master bedroom is the
door on the left the right door is another bedroom. At the time this
photo was taken the furniture was temporarily stored in it.

Master bedroom with connecting shower. Renter will have access to
the cabinets for keeping clothing.

Private bathroom connected to the master bedroom. Shown here
just after the tiles were laid grout is still wet.

In this photo the tiles were just installed you can see the wet grout.

This is the hot shower a very efficient unit. I had to put it on position
1 as 2 and 3 wre too hot for me. Hot water on demand.

Looking into the kitchen from the living room. The door goes outside.

Another view of the kitchen area. showing the cabinets and cooking
area. This part of the house is not air conditioned at this time however
central air units are available and are fairly cheap. I never liked the
cabinets in here they did a terrible job building them, I would
suggest changing them out.

Looking back towards the living room showing more cabinets and
the large sink and tile work.

Upper porch or terrace more marble posts and railing.
Local kids enjoying the view.

Henry, My fully armed, security and body guard,
works the night shift. He's nearly six feet tall and weighs
200 lbs. Photo taken in our living room.

Spiral stairs going to upper terrace.

Looking down the spiral stairs from the upper terrace.

Parking area from the steps.

Finished house from the front. Notice parking area and dual terraces.
Also notice the stage in the foreground. Large enough for a band or disco.

View through the gate showing the parking area.

Left side of the house at the top of the hill. I covered the circular whole
last typhoon we had and never took it down. The house did fine in the
high winds.

Looking down the hill. Reason why my Ford is all wheel drive. Most of
my friends can't get up this hill with their two wheel drive vehicles.

House as it is today. Avocado tree in the foreground, planted from a
seed in a coffee pot, now about 5 feet tall.

In this view of the front terrace or porch you can see the light green
and white tiles and the use of marble slabs and posts. The vertical
posts are covered with pebbles and are built extra strong incase you
wish to put up a second floor.

Front lawn showing parking area and gate. During the hot months it
is hard to keep the grass green, needs constant watering.

View from the upper terrace. Matthew's first birthday party. And
what a party it was. You can see how large the parking are is from
the upper terrace. Also notice the large steel gate.

This view is looking over the parking area from the porch, you can see
the Coconut Palms behind our house. Our rear wall nearly ten feet
tall is topped with steel and painted gold. Tips are pointed and sharp.

Kids on the front porch.

The following photos were taken November 14th 2006. Life goes on...
Notice the much greener grass and plenty of flowers in this photo.

This view shows the Grotto and our Bermuda grass. The tricycle
Parked in the garage can be used to transport people to town.

The Alpine Subdivision in the background. You can purchase a Honda
like the one in this photo for about $800.00. At the end of this road,
you can barely see it here is the main road. Go right to head into Bogo
about three kilometers. Go left and it takes you to Cebu City, about two
hours by car.  Slow in some areas due to congested small sity streets.
Cebu  City is about 98 Kilometers south from here.

The Avocado tree, I planted this one from a seed, soon it will have
fruit.

Another view of the house from 2006 showing the larger avacado tree.

Mold is always a problem in all of Asia however this type of mold is not
dangerous just looks bad, it washes off with soap and water. You can
see it on the steps and parking area concreet.

A nice relaxing evening, enjoying the sunset. The young live-in maid
Age 19, holding Matthew. By the way guys, she is single and available.

South of our house

This  photo was  taken just  south of my  house,  you can  see that  the bay  and ocean
are not  far away  from our property.  Just behind  the tree to the right  is open  ocean.
We  are  only   about  one  kilometer  south  of the  house  from  this mountain.   At the
point also  behind the  tree is  Warrens Beach Resort,  and  on the  other side, this side
near  our house is Nailon Beach Resort.  Visible in the photo is the main road that goes
to South  to Cebu  City and  north to  Daan Bantayan  at the northern  end of  Cebu.
